Peter Apps is taking part in this. If you would like to take part there is the opportunity to run on behalf of Lauriston Lights who are looking to raise money to fund Summer Camps for children over the six week holidays. They have a target of £4.000 and any assistance with fundraising would be appreciated. Runners need to pay their own entrance fee. Fundraisers are asked to pledge to pledge a minimum of £100 and a require a minimal registration fee of £20 for all half marathons

Well done to Martin Quinlan and Katherine Bellinger who recorded their first parkrun as East End Road Runners. Also well done to Alice Clilverd on completing the Watford Half Marathon 2015.

On Saturday, Alice Clilverd and Alain Mbe will be taking part in the Queen Elizabeth Olympic Park 10k Series 2015. For more information or to enter see http://qeopraces.com/.
On the 15th August 2015 a number of members will be taking part in the Spitfire Scramble, a 24 hour event but you compete as a team taking breaks in between laps of 5.8 miles. Last year the club took part for the first time, with members camping out overnight and generally having a good time. This year the club is looking to get more people involved. This is not just a run but also a social event. for more information please speak to Asad or contact Rod and he will put you in touch with Asad. All levels of runners are welcome!!!
