Club Christmas Dinner

Another year past and so does another club Christmas dinner. Fun and laughter was had by all! As usual Nuvit did a fantastic job of organizing everything and we would like to take this opportunity thank her for all her work!
Remember if you have an idea for a club social contact Nuvit at socsec@eerr.org.uk.

A few members received awards for the Elvis series (East London Fives Interclub Series):
Best Age Grading : Catherine Apps
Biggest PB (Personal Best) over 5K : Brian Graham
Biggest PB (Personal Best) over 5M: Dini Patel
Most valued Elvis Participant: Sherry Moran ( Attended most races, had the “purple fun bus”, always smiling, the list is endless).
And most important award “Battle of the sexes” went to the Men’s Team. Award based on percentage of PBs compared to attendance. Better luck next time Ladies!

Well done everyone that received an award.

We would also like to say a massive well done to Celine who took over the job of organising Elvis this year for the first time. She made sure everyone got there, supported them and feed everyone. I am sure everyone would agree she did a great job and thank her for all her hard work.

Festive Santa Run saw purples getting into the Christmas spirit and having fun.

Christmas Cracker Duathlon witnessed a group of purple marshaling children of all ages around the Velopark circuit.
