Whilst on the subject of Sunday runs it would be useful to receive feedback from members as to their ongoing requirements for Sunday runs. Last week Keeley volunteered to lead and there were no runners.

Please e-mail bisi@eerr.org.uk with your comments in regard to preferred start times, should we introduce a system where members need to e-mail leaders to confirm their attendance in advance.

https://www.entrycentral.com/christmas-cracker-duathlon

I have corrected the date of the above event, in addition to encouraging children to enter I am still looking for 12 volunteers to assist with running of the duathlon.

Apologies that the event is the day after the Christmas social, but if you are available on the day to assist with marshalling please contact bisi@eerr.org.uk. You will be required from 8.30am-12 midday and all help gratefully received.

Virgin Money London Marathon

We now have 12 members interested in club places. Number of places and dates have still to be finalised but if you do want to be considered please let a member of the committee know and provide evidence of your rejection. We should be able to apply for places at the end of October, let's have a big recruitment drive this week with a view to increasing EERR marathon places to 3. We are agonisingly close it would be a shame to miss out on an extra place by one or two numbers
