Leave NLC following the side path as far as Boundary Lane. Exit onto the cycle track/pavement, and continue along Newham Way as far as the footbridge.
Cross over, and go through the gap in the wall into Viking Gardens and on to the gates of Beckton District Park North.
Follow the path inside the Park, taking the 2nd left [fork], going past wooden exercise equipment, following the path as far as the entrance onto Tollgate Road.
Cross the road and follow the path directly opposite, down through Beckton District Park South as far as the children's playground just past the Will Thorne Pavilion car park.
Just after, [where the path turns left towards Beckton Corridor] turn right using the zebra crossing on Stansfield Road, and follow the footpath [Jake Russell Walk] parallel to Richard House Drive.
At a circular cleared space, take the left turn up the incline and across the bridge going over Royal Albert Way, to emerge on Dockside Road just behind the London Regatta Centre.
Follow the road under the Connaught Bridge, and cut across the grass in front of the Ramada Hotel to join the waterfront alongside Excel.
Follow the waterfront all the way around the Royal Victoria Dock, turning left at Tidal Basin Road roundabout and continuing parallel to Silvertown Way past the Watersports Centre, turning left and alongside the Dock into Britannia Village.
At the footbridge, turn around and retrace the route back to NLC.
