Out the front of NLC and directly across the road. Follow Chalk Road and then Chadwin Road as far as New Barn Street. Carefully cross the road and take the small road just to the left and then turn right along Carson Road, taking the third street on the left, Cambus Road, which then becomes Newhaven Lane. At Barking Road cross over and continue along the western side of Newhaven Lane, which then becomes Star Lane. Cut through Star Lane park if open else continue until Manor Road. Turn left and continue till the roundabout at Canning Town, crossing over to the Bus station side and turning right and over the Barking Road flyover. At the other side of the flyover take the footpath to the left, that follows alongside the river, and cross over the road at the large roundabout. Take Blackwall Way to the left and follow it down as far as Preston's Road. Turn left and continue along the road crossing over the bridge at the entrance to West India Millwall Docks. Then turning right at the mini roundabout onto Marsh Wall South Quay. Take Limeharbour on the left which becomes East Ferry Road and follow this as far as Mudchute Park opposite the DLR station. At which point, turn around and retrace the route back to NLC.
